Patient rights

  1. Getting the worthy healthcare is the right patient.

The provision of health services must include the following conditions:

  • Be worthy of human dignity and respect for values, cultural and religious beliefs
  • Be free from any discrimination, including ethnic, cultural, religious, disease, and gender.
  • The distribution of health resources should be based on equity and treatment priorities for patients.

 

  1. The information should be appropriately and adequately provided to the patient

The content of the information should include:

  • The provisions of the Patient Rights Charter at the time of admission.
  • Predictable hospital rates and costs, including health and non-medical services, insurance policies, and introduction of support systems at the time of admission.
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic methods and strengths and weaknesses of each method and its potential complications, disease diagnosis, ad insight and its complications, as well as all influential information in patient decision making.
  • Right to Choose a physician and  health care organization provider within the criteria
  • Whether or not to participate in any research, with the assurance that his or her decision will have no impact on the continuity and access to health services.

 

  1. The provision of health services should be based on respect for patient privacy (privacy) and the principle of confidentiality.
  • Patient privacy should be respected at all stages of care, including diagnostic and therapeutic stages. To this end, it is necessary to provide all necessary facilities to ensure patient privacy.
